Description
On this guided sightseeing tour, you will visit the South and South-West parts of Mauritius in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle dedicated to your group. You will be picked up from your accommodation, and we will head to the charming town of Curepipe to see the iconic Trou aux Cerfs dormant volcano. Trou aux Cerfs is surrounded by lush green forest, including indigenous plants and pine trees. The viewpoint gives a sweeping panorama of the island, including various mountain ranges. Take a leisurely stroll around the crater and soak in the serene atmosphere.
En route to Alexandra Falls, we will make brief stop at Mare aux Vacoas, the largest reservoir on the island. At Alexandra Falls, capture spectacular views of the cascading waterfall and enjoy a peaceful walk among tall indigenous trees and nearby streams. The Black River Gorges National Park offers a spectacular viewpoint of some of the most scenic landscapes in Mauritius, with untouched valleys, gorges, hills, and mountains set against the distant sea — perfect for breathtaking and Instagram-worthy photographs. Hand-crafted souvenirs are also available here.
A visit to Ganga Talao Temple (also known as Grand Bassin) is optional on this tour. If you wish to explore the island’s spiritual heritage, we can include a stop at this sacred Hindu pilgrimage site. Please note that choosing this option will replace the visits to Alexandra Falls and the Black River Gorges Viewpoint.
We will then pause for lunch at Varangue sur Morne – a scenic restaurant that overlooks the dramatic landscapes of the Le Morne Brabant region, including the mountain, its surrounding plains and the Indian Ocean coastline. While enjoying a carefully selected authentic local lunch, you can admire the spectacular views. After lunch, we will head to the geopark of your choice. Both are home to a geological marvel — the naturally formed sand dunes of 23 harmoniously blended colours, creating a truly surreal landscape. The parks also feature rare giant tortoises, waterfalls, and diverse wildlife.
*Important Tour Route Information: Kindly be advised that, in order to optimise travel time along this tour route, we request that clients select the geopark attraction based on their accommodation location. Chamarel Seven Colored Earth Geopark is recommended for clients staying in the West or North of the island. Vallé Advenature Park is recommended for clients staying in the South or East of the island.
At the end of your adventure, you will enjoy a safe and comfortable return journey to your accommodation.

Description
On this guided sightseeing tour, you will visit the South and South-East parts of Mauritius in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle dedicated to your group. You will be picked up from your accommodation, and we will begin this adventure at Blue Bay Marine Park – one of the island’s two marine reserves and one of the best places to experience Mauritius’ vibrant marine life.
Here, you will embark on a glassbottom boat adventure to see the pristine, colourful and diverse undersea world of this protected marine park. At this point, if you dream of swimming with the fish or getting a closer look at the coral formations, you will be provided with snorkelling gear so you can jump right in. If you are lucky, you might even spot the hawksbill or green sea turtle, which are known to visit this area.
After witnessing the spectacular marine life of the South, we are sure you've built up an appetite. We will head to the charming coastal village of Mahébourg – here, you can experience authentic Mauritian street food. Quench your thirst with fresh coconut water, try out spicy fruit salad and the local favourite Gateau Merveille. Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the waterfront and take in the beautiful sea views.
We will then break for lunch at a popular local restaurant, Le Phare, which is at the waterfront itself. While enjoying the exquisite lunch carefully selected by our team for an authentic culinary experience, you will witness everyday Mauritian life unfolding in the neighboring streets – from bustling market activity to locals commuting, shopping, or simply relaxing.
Next on the agenda is Pont Naturel or "Natural Bridge" which is a marvel of nature. It was carved into the sea cliffs by ocean waves over time. Our guide will happily capture photos of your group posing on this stunning bridge. Please note this stop is only possible if weather permits, as it is accessible through dirt roads which become waterlogged during heavy rain. If conditions do not permit a visit to Pont Naturel, we will instead head to La Roche Qui Pleure – a dramatic coastal rock formation where waves crash against the cliffs, creating the illusion of a “crying rock.” If we can visit Pont Naturel, to save time we will head directly to Le Gris Gris – where you will be able to see La Roche Qui Pleure from there.
We will conclude this beautiful day with a stop at Gris Gris, where breathtaking views of stunning rock formations and majestic cliffs await. The untamed sea in this part of the island offers a powerful and contrasting perspective of our coastline.
After a memorable day of exploration, you will enjoy a safe and comfortable journey back to your accommodation.

You will also see the charming “Umbrella Market,” famous for its vibrant canopy of multi-coloured umbrellas.
From there, we continue to the historic Aapravasi Ghat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This important landmark is where many Asian and African ancestors first arrived as indentured labourers. Our guide will walk you through this significant chapter of Mauritian history as you explore the preserved remains where they were once housed.
The stroll carries on to the iconic Port Louis Central Market where we have the best of our local street food selected for you to enjoy. Sip on the popular local Alouda, savour freshly made spicy dhall puri, and sample other delicious street snacks available along the way. Our guide will gladly assist with selecting the best options, ensuring you enjoy an authentic and memorable culinary experience. At this point, should you wish to purchase a few special souvenirs, you are welcome to do so. Our guide will advise on the time available and ensure the mini shopping experience fits comfortably within the tour schedule.

During your guided tour, you’ll discover indigenous plant species, trees planted by world leaders and royalty, giant water lilies, as well as deer and giant tortoises roaming the grounds.
With appetites built from the day’s exploration, we head to the town of Goodlands for lunch, where you will savour one of the island’s most beloved dishes – briani – prepared the traditional way locals have perfected over generations. We encourage our clients to enjoy the local briani experience. However, if you have any reservations regarding spicy food, please let us know in advance so we can make suitable arrangements.
In the afternoon, we continue to the picturesque village of Cap Malheureux, famous for its postcard-worthy scenery. Admire the charming, red-roofed church set against the turquoise lagoon, with the iconic islet of Coin de Mire visible in the distance – a perfect backdrop for memorable photos. Your guide will gladly assist in capturing these special moments.
As we drive back along the scenic coastal road, enjoy the relaxed village atmosphere and breathtaking views of Mauritius’ crystal-clear lagoons. After a memorable day of exploration, you will enjoy a safe and comfortable journey back to your accommodation.

Description
On this guided sightseeing tour, you will visit the West and South-West parts of Mauritius in the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle dedicated to your group. After pickup from your accommodation, we head first to the magnificent Black River Gorges National Park – a protected, untouched rainforest renowned for its dramatic valleys, rolling hills, waterfalls, and deep gorges.
Here, you will enjoy a refreshing hike surrounded by indigenous flora and tropical wildlife, including rare endemic bird species unique to Mauritius. To align comfortably with our tour schedule, we request that clients follow the Macchabée Kiosk Trail (4.3 km one-way), one of the most scenic and accessible routes within Black River Gorges National Park. This route fits perfectly within our planned itinerary and offers a beginner to moderate-level hiking experience, making it suitable for most fitness levels while still being both rewarding and scenic. We allocate a total of 2.5 to 3 hours for this hike, giving you ample time to fully enjoy the experience while ensuring the day remains comfortably paced for lunch and the other highlights on the itinerary.
This trail begins at Pétrin Information Centre and leads up to the famous kiosk viewpoint, offering spectacular panoramic views over the lush, forested valleys below – a perfect photo opportunity. The trail is clearly marked and well signposted, making it easy to follow. It is a popular hiking route, and you will typically encounter other hikers along the way, providing added reassurance that you are not alone on the trail. For additional peace of mind, you may also take our driver’s contact number should you require any assistance.
After working up an appetite, we head to the popular local restaurant Mo Filaos, located in the charming coastal village of Beau du Cap. Here, you will savour authentic Mauritian cuisine prepared with fresh local ingredients, all while enjoying stunning sea views in a relaxed village setting.
Following lunch, we make our way to the spectacular Macondé Viewpoint, one of the island’s most photographed coastal roads. From this dramatic cliffside lookout, you can admire sweeping views of the turquoise lagoon meeting the deep blue Indian Ocean – a scene often featured in travel magazines.
Our journey then takes us down history lane to the Slave Route Monument at the foot of Le Morne Brabant, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will be able to peep into the history of our ancestors who, when under slavery, escaped and found refuge on this mountain. This iconic mountain stands today as a powerful symbol of resistance and freedom. Located along the beachfront, the monument offers both historical significance and natural beauty.
We will stop at the beautiful and famous Le Morne Beach for you to end the day with a refreshing swim, some relaxation time, or a peaceful walk along the shoreline, allowing you to fully take in the beauty and significance of this meaningful site. This beach is renowned for its powdery white sand, crystal-clear turquoise lagoon, and the majestic backdrop of Le Morne Brabant, creating one of the most breathtaking coastal settings in Mauritius.
After a memorable day of exploration, you will enjoy a safe and comfortable journey back to your accommodation.
