Blossom Tours kindly requests that you as the client or traveller please refer to our Terms and Conditions before booking any of our services. We strive to ensure all our clients have a positive experience and kindly ask that you familiarise yourself with the information below.

Blossom Tours – Booking Terms & Conditions

Wherever they appear in these terms and conditions:
(a) The words “we, us, our” means Blossom Tours;
(b) The words “you”, “your”, “they”, “their” refer to the client / traveller.
1. Pricing Terms & Conditions
​
(a) Pricing
-
‘Price(s)’ refer to advertised holiday package prices, price quotes or other service offering prices which are reflected on our website and social media platforms or communicated with the client.

Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to availability, third party price increases, and currency fluctuations.
-
All prices advertised are based on the Mauritian Rupee (MUR). Any advertisement or communication of prices in a foreign currency (such as Rands or other) is the approximate price only and is based on the MUR exchange rate at the time of the publication or communication with the client.

Exchange rates are indicative and prices are therefore subject to change.

We reserve the right to re-cost the price and exact amounts will be confirmed at the time of booking.

(b) Holiday Packages

All advertised holiday packages are inclusive of stay only (land arrangements, i.e., lodging, half-board meal plan, return airport transfers and a day tour) and the cost of airfares (including all respective taxes and fuel levies) are not included, unless otherwise stated.

Accommodation is subject to availability and will be confirmed at time of booking.

Prices are per person sharing basis, i.e. on twin sharing basis, unless otherwise stated.
-
Prices are based on stay for 7 nights, unless otherwise stated.
-
Prices are based on the lowest room category, unless otherwise stated.
-
Prices are indicative of travel within low season or within selected travel dates if specified, and blackout dates may apply.
-
Higher prices apply for stay outside low season and for room categories other than lowest room category.
-
Peak season surcharges apply depending on travel dates, this includes surcharges on meal supplements, and other applicable surcharges in terms of third party requirements for peak season.

Discounts (if applicable) only apply to room rates not meal plans and other services.
-
Early bird offers (if applicable) is subject to booking within a certain timeframe.
-
Prices are already inclusive of extra night stay for long stay offers (if applicable).
2. Payment Terms & Conditions

(a) Deposit
-
A deposit 50% of the total package cost is required for reservation of service with full payment in respect of the airfare (if applicable) for confirmation of booking.
-
Receipt of deposit is a confirmation of the booking and balances due must be settled in time, as further outlined below.
-
This is subject to the condition that proof of payment is provided to us and such payment has been confirmed as received by ourselves. All international payments take a few working days or longer to reflect.

Blossom Tours reserves the right to automatically cancel any booking in respect of which it does not receive the deposit or any outstanding payments by the specified date as outlined in the invoice.​​
(b) Payment Method and Details

Blossom Tours accepts electronic bank transfers or cash deposited into our bank account as reflected in the invoice to the client.
-
We do not accept cash on arrival. All services must be paid before client arrival or consumption of services as stated in section ‘2(d)’ below.
-
In the event of consumption of accommodation at a hotel, invoices will reflect the currency as dictated by the hotel unless otherwise stated – this means if the hotel charges the client in EURO or USD then the invoice will be issued to the client as such.

Payment will be required in the currency issued in the invoice.
-
Invoices are based on the rate of exchange at the time of quotation.
-
The client should pay immediately or within 7 days of receipt of the invoice or as otherwise agreed.
-
If the client has failed to pay within the agreed upon timeframe in communication, then a new invoice will be issued with the amounts due reflecting the current exchange rate.
(c) International Payments
-
All international transfer fees or foreign bank fees applicable to the sender (i.e., you) will be to your own cost. The sender and the beneficiary (i.e., us) pay their own bank charges. We will pay our bank charges for receiving the international payment in question and you will bear your own international transaction fee for making and sending the international payment in question.

In the event that you choose that the beneficiary (i.e., us) pay or be responsible for all international transfer fees or foreign bank fees, this will be deducted from your total cost and the outstanding amount due to us must still be settled and received by us to confirm booking of services as stated in section ‘2(a)’ above.
(d) Balance Due
-
Accommodation services must be paid in full at least 35 days before arrival, unless an early bird offer applies which must be paid within the time specified in the communication with the client.
-
The booking of a non-lodging or single service booking, either for car rental, day tours, shuttle service, airport transfers or other, must be paid in full at least 14 days before client arrival in Mauritius.
(e) Cancellation and Refund Policy
-
If a refund is due to a client, Blossom Tours will refund through the same means the initial payment was made. For instance, if the money was sent electronically, it will be refunded as such.
-
In the event of bad weather conditions, Blossom Tours will make every effort to reschedule the tour to a more suitable day or offer you a full refund should the weather stay that way for the full duration of your stay.

The client is to be aware that under normal weather conditions, all activities operate normally unless there is a weather warning issued by the local authority which prohibits going out to sea or taking caution for land-based activities.

In terms of airfare, if you decide to make any changes to your flight, a service fee will be applicable and penalty charges may apply depending on the airline and you will be liable for payment of any difference (i.e. if the new flight you want to book is more expensive than the already booked one, you will need to pay in the difference) (if applicable).

Blossom Tours will not be held responsible for delayed, rescheduled, postposed, or missed flights; and no refunds will be entertained for tickets.
-
Blossom Tours will however provide the necessary assistance to the client should any changes need to be made and additional service costs in this respect may apply.
-
Blossom Tours will not entertain refunds for reasons due to flights or whatsoever personal reasons, for no-show check-in at the accommodation or any other missed service(s) that were booked.
-
For our dolphin and whale encounters, please note that there is a 90% probability to encounter dolphins and a 60% probability to encounter whales. Should we not encounter the dolphins and / or whales in any excursion, no refunds will be made. This excursion relies solely upon nature, and we cannot guarantee nature at any time.

You may cancel at any time, for whatever reason, provided you notify Blossom Tours in writing. If you decide to cancel, the following cancellation penalties will apply:​​​
(a) Blossom Tours Cancellation Policy – Accommodation:
31 days or more prior to check-in date: 25% of total service cost
22 days to 30 days prior to check-in date: 50% of total service cost
8 days to 21 days prior to check-in date: 75% of total service cost
1 day to 7 days prior to check-in date: 100% of total service cost
No show or unexpected departure: No refund​
(b) Blossom Tours Cancellation Policy – Tours, Car Rental, Shuttle Service and Airport Transfers:
8 days or more prior to service: 25% of total service cost
4 days to 7 days prior to service: 50% of total service cost
1 day to 3 days prior to service: 75% of total service cost
No show: 100% of total service cost (no refund) In terms of airfare, if you decide to make any changes to your flight, a service fee will be applicable and penalty charges may apply depending on the airline and you will be liable for payment of any difference (i.e. if the new flight you want to book is more expensive than the already booked one, you will need to pay in the difference) (if applicable).

3. Other Terms & Conditions

Upon receipt of communication from the airline regarding any change(s) to the flight of the client we will make every effort to inform the client in a timeous manner as dependent upon the airline of such changes should airline booking be part of the client’s holiday package with Blossom Tours.

At the time of booking, the client must provide Blossom Tours with their full names as reflected in the passport and must provide a copy of the passport.
-
The client is fully responsible to ensure that all passports, visas and any vaccinations are valid or obtained on time.
-
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
-
All children under 18 years of age should be accompanied by an adult.
-
The client is fully responsible to check the immigration regulation, in their country before departure, for travelling with minors (under 18).
-
While travel insurance is not compulsory to travel, it is highly recommended. The client is fully responsible to ensure that they have acquired the necessary travel insurance with a registered and reputable local provider should they wish to do so before travelling.

It is advisable that children from 0 to 3 years should be in a car seat. It is the client’s responsibility to advise us whether they would like to add-on a car seat for their tour, shuttle service or airport transfers.

You need to be at least 21 years old and in possession of a driver's licence for at least one year to be able to book a car with us.
-
At the time of booking, the client must ensure that their luggage will not exceed the vehicle chosen for their group for airport transfers or car rental.

If the client has special dietary requirements, it is the full responsibility of the client to advise us before booking a hotel stay about such requirements. If timeous communication is received, Blossom Tours will make every effort to find a suitable hotel that meets the client’s dietary needs.

If the client has special dietary requirements and has booked a tour inclusive of food supplements, it is the full responsibility of the client to advise us before booking a tour about such requirements. If timeous communication is received, Blossom Tours will make every effort to find suitable meal options.

If a client books a helicopter tour, should a passenger be 28 weeks or more pregnant, then a medical certificate from a medical practitioner is required (to be handed to the staff before embarking in the helicopter), stating that the pregnant passenger is fit to fly.

Any activities that require snorkelling or extensive time at sea is not recommended for pregnant women or those with health or physical challenges.

Blossom Tours works with trained and certified crews for boat excursions and as such it is very important for the client(s) to listen and act as per the directives given by skippers during the whole duration of their trip.

Upon the consumption of booked services, Blossom Tours will not be held responsible for loss or damage to luggage; delayed, postponed, cancelled or missed flights; loss or damage to personal belonging; or injury, accidents or death.

Participation in any activities and/or uses of the facilities provided by us or our service providers are at your own risk and the traveller absolves Blossom Tours and the service provider from any and all liability for any loss due to whatsoever conditions.
