Description
Our hospitable driver will have your freshly cleaned car ready at the pick-up location at your chosen time. He will help you through some standard paperwork which will take only a few minutes of your time (ensure that you have your driver's licence and passport at hand). After that, he will hand you the key and your adventure on our beautiful island can begin.
As for the drop-off, our driver will meet you at your chosen location and time, and he will do a brief check of the car for damages.
If you opt for the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport as the pick-up location, our driver will wait for you at the arrival terminal with your name or the name of your group clearly indicated on a signboard. Once you identify the driver, he will meet and greet your group before directing you to the vehicle.

Our default pick-up or drop-off location is the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.

If you prefer a different location for the pick-up or drop-off, please indicate when booking.

Be aware that we drive on the left-hand side of the road in Mauritius and roundabouts are a common occurrence where vehicles coming from the right take priority.

All the road signs are to international standards.

Tourists are allowed to drive with their domestic driver's licence for up to four weeks from the time of arrival on the island.

Tourists planning to drive beyond four weeks should apply for an international Driving Permit from their home country.

You need to be at least 21 years old and in possession of a driver's licence for at least one year to be able to book with us.

At pick-up, our driver will check your passport and driver's licence to confirm the above.

Mauritius has a zero tolerance to drinking and driving. Should you be caught driving under the influence of alcohol, you will be charged a significant fine by the local police authority. Our insurance also do not apply when under the influence of alcohol.

Wearing of seat belts is mandatory for all passengers.

You are not allowed to use a hand-held phone while driving. Should you be caught doing so, you will be charged a significant fine by the local police authority.

You should always be in possession of your car rental contract, your driver's licence and passport when driving in Mauritius. If you are stopped by the local police, you will be asked to present these documents.
Pricing

A rental day is considered to be a 24 hour period.

You have a 30 minutes grace period when it comes to drop-off. For example, if you pick up your car at 10:00, you are expected to drop off your car at 10:30 latest on the drop-off day. Should the drop-off time be more than 30 minutes pass your pick-up time, you should book an additional rental day.

Baby seats can be provided upon request at an additional cost. Note that the baby seats are suitable for babies/toddlers of up to 3 years old.

A delivery fee and a collection fee is already included in our price.

Please note that we offer a minimum of 3 days rental period.

Our pricing is for up to 14 days rental period. Should you require a vehicle for a longer rental period, please contact us for pricing and discounts.
